Need Official Warrant Information?
Route the question to the office that controls the record or the current stage of the matter:
- ACSO-held warrant: call the Adams County Sheriff’s Office Warrants Section at 720-322-1325, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- District or County Court case: call the Colorado Judicial Branch Clerk of Court at 303-659-1161, or the Records Unit at 303-654-3239.
- State court visit: the Adams County Justice Center is at 1100 Judicial Center Drive, Brighton, CO 80601. Building hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; clerk windows are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Sheriff records request: the ACSO records desk is at 4430 South Adams County Parkway, First Floor, Suite W5400, Brighton, CO 80601. Call 303-655-3490; office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Municipal bench warrant: contact the Thornton, Westminster, Commerce City, Brighton, or Northglenn municipal court named on the citation or notice.
- Resolution or surrender: ask the issuing court and a licensed Colorado attorney about recall, quash, bond, walk-in, motion, or surrender options. The sheriff lists its detention facility as the 24-hour surrender site, but case terms remain court-controlled.
The Adams County Sheriff’s Office public warrant search covers ACSO-held entries and excludes juveniles. Its own notice says a blank result does not rule out a warrant. Colorado has no single public statewide warrant portal, so city-court and state-court confirmation may still be required.
